THE RELEVANCE OF THE MAYA PHILOSOPHY

Tigger has related the Riemann Hypothesis to the ancient philosophy of the South American and Indian civilisations. The famous Riemann zeta function is a reflection of the Universe in the sense of the Macro Cosmos being reflected in the Micro Cosmos. The Universe consists only of energy waves i.e. Shakti. These waves interact to give the illusion of matter i.e. Maya. Points on the zeta function which are totally real or totally imaginary correspond to effective computations of a particular time complexity. These effective computations are within the framework of the Church-Turing Thesis which is looked upon as the greatest intellectual achievement of Western civilisation. The zeroes of the zeta function correspond to the best Turing machines for a particular time complexity.

A point on the zeta function represents the computation of a traditional or a surreal Turing machine. It can be described either by the interaction of weighted sine and cosine waves as the Quantum Computer does or can be described by interaction of weighted finite harmonic series as the Piglet Computer does. In either case the mathematical studies and models are based on the work of the great Euler.

When we use the Piglet Transform to describe effective computations we see that the case of the Silver Bullet arises for many problems which have been suspected to be of deterministic exponential time complexity on the RASP computer. These get pulverised to deterministic polynomial time complexity algorithms. Even the mighty P=NP problem gets pulverised.

It is a pity of course that the Silver Bullet will send a lot of online cryptography for a 'toss'.

When we combine the Piglet Transform with the Roo Number System we see the relevance of some ancient philosophies. Using the Roo number system we can compress an integer of the size of the Universe to something of the size of an 'divine egg' or perhaps down to a mathematical point. We see that all the strange ideas that Physics has been floating around like antimatter, pulsating universes, pulsating stars,instantaneous communication across space etc etc can be described either by considering computation as arising from the interaction of weighted sine and cosine waves OR the interaction of weighted finite harmonic series OR the interaction of NP-complete computations!The interesting thing is that everything seems condensed and reflected in the Riemann zeta function, with the famous zeroes of the function representing the best and most optimal way a computation can be done.

The really astounding thing about Tigger's views is that they are all within the framework of the Peano Axioms, the ZFC Axioms and consistent with the Arabic positional representation of integers.

Tigger says we can stretch things a wee bit. In all civilisations, all cultures all periods of time there is a deep rooted belief in the existence of supernatural beings. Depending on the culture these can be kami, jinn, angels, devils, witches, faires, goblins, hobbits, elves, etc etc. It is getting fashionable to grant the existence of hypercomputers. Where does all of this fit in in the zeta function. They according to Tigger, by stretching ones imagination, are the points on the zeta function that have both a non-zero real and imaginary value and correspond to surreal Turing machines.

However if we restrict ourselves to the computable real numbers then surreal Turing machines are bounded by the Church Turing Thesis and we are no better off than the good 'ole Turing machine.
